    ThieAudio Legacy Series IEMs

Anyone have the Legacy 2 yet, or at least have one order? Looking forward to reading impressions, particularly regarding the beryllium coated DD implementation. Also, for anyone interested, it is currently on Drop. The price is $99, but “Members who purchase earn 2178 Drop Rewards Points”...

XENNS (previously known as Mangird) Impressions Thread

Of all those listed, the Penon Volt would probably be the closest to the Tea, but better IMHO. They are both definitely mid-centric tuned IEMs, with very full lower and mid midrange frequencies. The Volt is a bit warmer, with generous midbass, as opposed to the sub bass bias of the Tea. The...

XENNS (previously known as Mangird) Impressions Thread

I find the Tea to be very sensitive to cable choice. I think I’ve tried more cables with this IEM than with any other IEM, including my typical go-to selections, a pure silver cable and a single crystal UPOCC cable. After all that experimentation, I found this relatively inexpensive cable...

    Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread

I’m afraid if this were true, many people would never know what an EST driver sounds like, as it is beyond the hearing of quite a few people. 15KHz is pretty much the extent of my upper freq. hearing.

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

The 64 Audio Nio might be perfect for you. Lots of bass, with more laidback upper mids and treble, an L-shaped tuning like the FH3.

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

I concur. I just listened to the L3 (0,0 setting) and compared it to the Clair. FWIW, I do enjoy the L3 sound, but it is quite a bit darker than the Clair, and the Oracle seems to perhaps even have more treble overall than the Clair. While my L3 set has nicely extended upper treble air (not...

    Precog's IEM Reviews & Impressions

Nice review! I had a feeling you would like it more than the Monarch’s tuning, based on your Monarch review (I have yet to hear the Monarch myself). FWIW, the upper treble on my Clair set also has tremendous extension, so I don’t think it’s an anomaly of your set. Andrew also mentioned how...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

I’m pretty sure the Excalibur has a lot of bass, including mid bass. The Clairvoyance has a lot of bass, not bass head levels, but with a little EQ, it can reach bass head levels, though not with massive amounts of mid bass. The Clair is definitely sub bass biased, and the Monarch is...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

Yeah, for better or worse, the Excalibur looks like it has a lot of treble quantity and crazy treble extension. Fortunately, it is offset by the bass quantity and mid bass warmth. It still may be too much for some people though. I can’t wait for more reviews and impressions. It looks like...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

Why? Just because the Excalibur looks tempting, and is probably excellent, doesn‘t take anything away from the Oracle? That logic doesn’t make sense to me. I personally think all 4 tunings look excellent in their own ways. I find the tuning of the Monarch, Oracle and Excalibur potentially...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

The first 2 tribrids. The 2 newer tribrids. Similar overall tunings. The Excalibur looks to be a very dynamic sounding IEM. These look different enough to be quite complementary. These look like an amazingly complementary pair to have. In looking at and comparing all 4 graphs from a...

    ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs

Excalibur graph Looks mighty impressive to me. Seems closer to warm neutral, with hefty bass boost, rather than outright V-shaped. Regardless, it looks very well balanced.

Nice!!! So you’re getting the Traillii? A Spark vs Traillii comparison would be awesome! Actually, throw in the Anole V14 for good measure, and that would be a really great shootout.

    Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread

I have neither the Land nor the Oracle, so take this with a teeny tiny grain of salt. It seems, based on impressions, reviews, graphs, that the Land is more V-shaped in tuning, though not with recessed mids necessarily. It has a more fun and exciting tuning. The Excalibur seems like it would...

Oriolus Traillii Electrostatic Hybrid IEM discussion thread

True!! Besides, at least the stock design of the Traillii won’t attract thieves. One would wear their Rolex or AP out, so why not the Bird.... with care of course. You can‘t bring your favorite Dynaudios with you, so why not your Traillii. That’s a huge part of what makes IEMs so special.
