Some of the micro sd cards are in the Black Friday deals. What is maximum capacity for Kann.. and which cards have the best success/speed with Kann. Are Sandisk any good?
KANN supports up to 512GB full sized SD cards and up to the 400GB microSD cards. The new Sandisk 400GB cards have been fully tested with KANN and are officially supported.

How do you guys deal with the heat? This thing gets hot on high after around an hour of driving the HD 6xx. Also, they really need to implement a feature where the buttons and volume wheel work with the screen off.

It does. Drop down the menu by sliding your finger down from the top and press the padlock icon.

Wow, just got one of these on an amazon warehouse deal. I thought people were exaggerating when they said they heard things they never had before, but I was wrong. This is my first DAP, I've only used an android phone before. Roll on Monday when my CA Andromedas arrive, and I have some headphones to match up to it.

Very, very happy with this purchase !

CA Andromeda is a bad pairing with Kann due the hissing. So bad. So I purchased iFi Match. Happily ever after :)

Hello,
I ordered a Kann 3 days ago from Amazon after reading a lot of positive reviews. However, yesterday I read a review which says that the sound on Kann is not as good as in AK70. According to the same review, the advantages of Kann is battery life, capacity and power. I'm less interested in those aspects and would prefer the best sound experience. If the price that I have to pay for having more power and battery life is to have a huge bloc in my pocket, it is even worst. To what extend do you agree with the fact that AK70 has a better sound than Kann? if that is true, then I will return the Kann and buy the new AK70 Mk2 which is much smaller

Currently listening to tears for fears - song from the big chair remastered 24/96 with Ultrasone 8LE..
it has never sounded better.
I think in regards to the Kann sound it is very well measured and brilliant. No nonsense, bass is controlled, treble bright and airy.. the sources makes all the difference. You could have DSD of a badly recorded album and it would still sound bad- with Kann the mask is off...

What is everyone enjoying music wise with Kann? It seems to love remastered 80s music a lot

Mostly my cd collection in ALAC format. Same here with the 80s stuff. Dire Straits,Madonna, Grace Jones,UB40,Sting. The Era when music was music.
