Oh how much fun getting older is! My pace in this year's BDB 26 miler dropped .08 tenths, was a 14.09 last year to a 14.01 this year and reflected in my 11 of 51 finish for 60-69 age bracket however still holding my own for 67 and still riding a single while the rest are click click clicking

Got a brand new Whyte Caledonian, 3 days later it went on sale almost half price. Returned mine and bought it again at the reduced price. Then was getting vibrations felt through the pedals in around 8th gear. So, back to the dealer, got a replacement. And still have the vibrations. Plus I got none of the Shimano drivetrain or brakes from the advertising. But Clarks clout brakes and Microshift. So double dirty about that. Not sure what my next step is...

The guy I bought my Schwinn Sidewinder from has legs that must be half as long as mine, mine being half as long as my body. I would just raise the seat, the new gel seat I haven't installed yet because for the life of me I have not been able to move it a planks length higher.

The nut that puts pressure on it is loose and I flipped up the other thing that might prevent it moving up. It is frozen to the point I even turned it upside down and tried standing on the seat while pulling up the frame.

What am I missing here? I am thinking of using a screwdriver to try and spread the gapped area further apart, but everything is loose and I already oiled it.

I'd hate to use the last of my TNT with mushroom hunting season upon us...

EDIT:I looked on youtube and guess it's not all that uncommon, though it's a first or me.. They had videos of people pouring hot water over the outside where it holds the sear post to swell it up so the post could move. Sledgehammer...
