Cayin N6ii, Unlimited Possibilities: a fully modularized smart DAP

With some sources I found that too, to some degree. But with the N6ii/E01 on A/B mode there seemed to be a more full and enjoyable signature. Please note, I never use EQ with any device or H/P. But I do use high gain and somewhat high volume settings. ymmv
Utopia is very sensitive to cables (including interconnects), too. Higher conductivity (e.g. silver) is not actually its friend.

I've got my Utopia review over here. I don't have a Utopia in house, so won't be able to test with Cayin N6ii and T01 and E02 modules when they come. I look forward to your impressions with all the modules you have.

Don't mean to derail the conversation with a weird request, but:

Does anyone have a picture of the N6ii in hand? I want to get an idea of a relative size and ergonomics.

I have small hands!

With the case on, it feels good and substantial to hold. I can press the volume button very easily, and reach the last track, pause and next track buttons easily (a bit too easily!). I hope that helps.

I don't own one, but the measurements on the Cayin website say 121 x 70 x 21 mm, so you could draw or build it out of paper and see how that feels. It would be hard to tell from pictures because of everyone's carrying hand sizes

I'm fortunate enough to already have an e02. First day with it but this turns the n6ii to totl dap level. In my opinion of course

I agree and it works so well with all of my IEMs..... Good dynamics, powerful punch, smooth high and great soundstage.

I’m quite surprised by how well the N6ii with A01 can drive my ZMF Auteur and Eikon. Not up to par with my Woo Audio WA7 but still great for when I don’t want to be at my desk. I need to find a 4.4mm to XLR since I’m using 3.5mm single end.

Wow! You are able to drive the Eikon and the Auteur from the 3.5 single ended?
