  I liked that one.. just curious about the size to choose.. small or medium.. small would be perfect if the iPad Mini could fit.. but regarding to measurements it does not.. but you never know before you try.. order one of each maybe? 

They are not that expensive.. and they got great reviews..

mine will have to take the ZX1, Hugo, Otter case & reading glasses case... you may need next size up.

Yes, I'm afraid you are right.. medium it is then for the iPad Mini.. and maybe a small one when using the iPod Touch as source..

Yes on the connection, providing you have the necessary cable.
Would it be the best way? I don't think it's possible to say.

Yes, it's the best way. The only other option is Bluetooth, but you won't get the same quality. I'm using the supplied optical cable with a cheap mini optical adapter for the AK120 connection. It works a treat and sounds fabulous.

Thanks guys. I could not care less about DSD and the 5 DSD albums available out there at 100$ each.
 
I wonder if a cable maker could DIY one...but I guess for a transport > DAC cable, it is all digital so the quality of the cable is not relevant right?
