I got another question. You pair RM1 to X7 II and start listening through your wired headphones, after a while RM1 goes into sleep mode right. If I want to change the volume or skip tracks, does it stay paired and work immediately?
It takes one push on any of the buttons to wake it up and then you get control.
Beware though. I've given up shutting the RM1 down, or disabling the BT on the dap. The pairing / unpairing - once the link is broken - is problematic otherwise. Before I made up my mind to leave it on all the time, I often needed to tell the dap to forget the remote to be able to re-pair. Now that it's always on, no problem - even when restarting or shutting down the dap - provided I leave BT on.
The volume wheel issue has returned again but I am not going to send it for repair again. It's definitely a manufacturing defect cause I sent it for repair two times now and it's still not resolved.
It's not going to stop me from buying FiiO stuff again as the volume wheel on M9 was fine like it should be.

I'm using the RM1 also. Really handy to keep in your pocket when your X7II is in an inside pocket or bag. I agree that re-pairing is a hassle when the pairing gets lost. The battery lasts pretty long.

I have the same problem with the volume wheel and I had to send it to China because I live in the Czech Republic but bought it on US Amazon when I was there.
I also wouldn't send it just because of the volume wheel, there was another HW problem because of which I wasn't able to listen to the music.
It's on the way to Fiio, I'll post here how they handle it.

Anyone know how to solve this problem : Wi-fi disconnect after around 10 to 15 min while spotify is playing, it's like if the X7 Mk2 don't see that the connection is active and close it. I have this problem on different wi-fi connection (home, work). Thanks in advance!

Please try to go into wifi settings, select the menu from the three dots icon at the top right, select advanced and set Keep Wifi on During Sleep to Always.
