One thing I noticed when unpacking the TT2. It's factory fresh and was sealed. I noticed a tiny pin prick on the from fascia below the 'letter D' which goes right through to the bare metal. It's tiny but does anyone think it will become an issue in the future?
Don’t think you will have a sound related issue but that’s just me.

Was thinking along the lines of the dot/chip being down to the bare metal and moisture taking effect over time. May lead to bubbling/peeling?

Guess you need to ask for replacement, to be on the safe side.

Indelible marker should hide that nicely.

I've managed to get a cabinet from that famous Swedish flat pack warehouse and have assembled and fixed castors so I can place it to my listening preference. Holes drilled at the back to allow for cables and ventilation. I've moved the TT2 and MScaler with some of my gear over and will cable up shortly. Hope you all like what I've done. Any improvements or recommendations appreciated.

Makes a nice looking equipment rack zen...well done! And even though wood is a good medium for hifi gear, I personally would still get some solid oak (or similar high density wood) as platforms for those lovely pieces of artwork lol :). Some folks go all out and use very thick butcher's chopping blocks, but I myself had better than expected results from those at just 20mm...(almost) my best bang-for-buck bit of tweaking. And oak cone isolation feet could well be the icing on the cake!

Thank hypnos1. I may go back to that ‘Swedish place’ and get some solid beech chopping boards and use those as my platforms. 🎧

I have my TT2 sitting next to the Mscaler, should I separate them onto different shelves and if so why please?
The MScaler is possibly prone to interference from nearby electrical items. In addition, the TT2 is directly connected so a little space will help reduce any possible frequencies given off by both units.

Had a bit of a shift around and have arrived at this... all 'plumbed in' and operational. I have now listened to the TT2/MScaler combo and I'm blown away! Considering I was only listening for 25 minutes via Optical and through very basic factory supplied headphone cables to my Sundara's I'm very impressed. Once I get my XLR Balanced Noir Hybrid cables for my LCD-5 from ForzaAudio Works with matching 6.3mm adaptor I will probably be in Audio Nirvana. I've ordered an RCA to BNC coaxial lead for connecting my FiiO M17 to the MScaler so there's another output. I've got my Pioneer PD-S904 Stable Platter CD Player connected to the MScaler and wow!!
WAVE Storms next.... I wish!! 😂

The 6.3mm performance on the TT2 is excellent. When using an XLR adapter with the outputs on the back, you then have an incredibly powerful (for the size of the package - one box) balanced outputs that will power most headphones out there. Will have no issues with your LCD-5's for sure. out of either output. Enjoy.
