Did you mean 100hours then? Usually they say cables have 150-200 hours burn in time.
Did you notice changes yourself?

Why did you sell it then?
I sold it because I believed the hype around Torus TOT MAX....I listened to lies people were spreading in the different forums.

They are two "different" things however...

My JCAT Card started being good at 2000hours. Maybe related to the clock starting opening up(stablizing) at 600hours or so...

Go for 1000hours with the powerstation. Buy a really good power cable for it. The stock cable will make the sound "worse" actually.

I remembering I put it on sale before I tried the Flux50. After trying it togeter I could not believe my ears. It felt like it went on steroids right away.

___

I just changed all my powercables. They a well over 300 hours. They are far from settled. Im going for 1000-2000hours(atleast two months)

I found the Torus Tot Max to sound too harsh and forward sounding. I really liked how kick drums sounded, but vocals and jazz/classical music was so weird sounding with it.

Ifi power station had good blackness of background, but sacrificed a bit too much macro and presence for my liking. Good power cable definitely helps a lot (I would heavily recommend not pairing it with an Ifi cable). Maybe I needed to burn it in more…

What power cable would you recommend with it?

Yes, background blackness is the specialty of PowerStation and also one of the key signs of effective noise reduction. However, products which also have this feature and lots of details on top are significantly more expensive and we wanted to keep our PowerStation affordable. Hope this helps, thanks!

I appreciate your impression. I really do..

Can I ask what system you have?

We are all from different "backgrounds" mostly

My system changes all the time haha
Unfortunately I already sold my Power Station a long time ago, but probably pick one up again later for my office system.
I have a Power Plant for my main system currently, but honestly still a bit unsatisfied. Still on the search for a great power conditioner.

Power station with supanova is really good pairing for those looking to upgrade power cable. Difference for me is more noticeable on speakers than headphones. With my Hifiman He1000v1, there is an improvement but not far when compared to the improvement it made to my audioengine a5+ which is not really something I expected to get benefit since it is not a revealing speaker. Soundstage is bigger (y axis, retains the width of the x axis), placement and separations of sounds are more distinct, smoother more detailed top end that is airy and instruments are kinda big sounding.

If not for the price increase, this pairing can be very easy to recommend.

We agree. Both these products were designed to decrease noise on a power line, and that ability adds up to proportionately increase the effect. Thanks!

Warning power station use with a balanced isolation transformer sounds terrible. I think because its earth system does not detect properly. A country that has a balanced system recommends not ti buy it.

The red alert does not work with a balanced electrical system

Best practice is before isolation transformer

isolation transformers are CE. Use any kind of conditionin before, not after

What is CE may you advise? I will try what you suggest.
Are you using Airlink? They are all center earth.

Balanced meaning that the polarity does not matter. Thats why powerstation is confused
