May I know how to compare with the supernova which may be a bit more near to the price tag of Quasar. If my system was extremely well set and free of noise issue etc…. Would there make any difference in between Supernova & Quasar sonically?

In your situation, as you described any product in this range can only be evaluated thru personal listening, to reveal any sonic benefits it may bring to an individual.
My best advice with any of these types of items is to buy from a reputable dealer with a "no questions" asked type return policy and judge its worth with your own system.
Users with well-tuned systems may hear small bumps, while users with "noisy" systems may get increased sonic benefits.

I have always been among the first in buying new iFi Audio products (I own five SupaNova power cables), but not this time. I haven't seen anything in the descriptions of this product that really explain the price jump over the last batch, you still only make 1.8-meter cables (didn't you promise different lengths at one point?), and you're keeping the performance measurements to yourself. I'll let others try these new cables first and wait for the reviews before making a decision.
Our SupaNova is an active product (it actively suppresses noise) with two useful features (Polarity and Earth indicators), while Quasar is a passive power cord without these utilities. That's why as a customer I'd ask myself whether I'd like to have these extras in a power cable or not. Hope this helps, thanks!

Hi, I have two questions about the cable, if you may
1. Is the SupaQuasar specifically designed for power/current-hungry amplifiers or will it have a positive effect on my 30 watts integrated tube amplifier as well (my current cable is the SupaNova)?
2. Is the only key difference between the Quasar and SupaQuasar the active noise cancelling and its perks? The price difference seems to indicate there is more to it.

Yes, the active noise cancellation circuit and in-built earth/polarity indicatior LEDs are the 'only' differences between these cables, but they're not small. Our ANC circuit makes SupaQuasar to work like a conditioner-like type of a product, which is rather interesting considering that this is a power cable to begin with.
Our SupaQuasar was designed specifically to limit noise incoming into a product it connects to, so it is universally beneficial in that sense.

These are fair questions. Nova and SupaNova cables feature 11 AWG live and neutral legs, 13 AWG grounding leg and polymer plug housings. Quasar and SupaQuasar feature 4 AWG neutral and live conductors, 10 AWG grounding wire, alloy plug housings and also RF filtering rings. Hope this helps, thanks!
