I dont understand why there is no CCA Trio on aliexpress. Same thing was with Rhapsody until dd audio store started to selling it weeks after release

KZ selling their iem for cheap and they doesn't want to pay the Ali-cut. So they sell it directly via KZTWS.com
Usually after few weeks it will be sold in ali tough.
Hopefully there will be more Rhapsody-Trio comparisons when people get their sets. 
I've never ordered direct from KZ's website. I'm going to guess it takes the same time for packages to arrive in Canada as Aliexpress packages do?

KZ AS16 Pro ($29 USD) with Hakugei Big Rice Cable ($22.95 USD Shipped)
It has been weeks since I received the IEMs and they sound very very good. I am even more impressed by the price and did not expect much out of them. I've tried them with stock cable, a diy OCC Copper cable and this cable, and I think this is the best combination for it yet. I don't know how the AS16 Pro compares to all the KZ models but I am very happy with this purchase.

there are several review of Trio, some mention comparison with Rhapsody with varied takesHopefully there will be more Rhapsody-Trio comparisons when people get their sets.
Some like Trio more, some like Rhapsody more.

I'm still using the KZ ZAX and I wonder if there is a new model from KZ/CCA which is better than ZAX. I didn't follow in the last years the forum and I didn't see the new products.

CCA Rhapsody from official store shipped 2023-11-20, delivered on 2023-12-05 to Montreal.
About the same, probably a little faster.
I spent couple days with CCA Polaris. Very nice sounding budget iem. Pretty clean sound with just enough of everything for my tastes. I was using DDUD tuning.

CCA Trio have arrived.
First impression are positive. For me it's a better set than the Rhapsody, I find it easier to listen to (the fit of the shells is also better). In the end, what I didn't like most about the Rhapsody was the bass, and that's what prevailed over selling them.
The Trio are no different from the sound quality of the Truthear Nova at first glance. The Nova sounds a little cleaner, but also a little leaner. The Trio's tones are a bit hazy. It's possible that here the nature of the transducers is somewhat imposing.
