I don't know what curve the grey one is, but it sure doesn't look like the Meze 99 Classics as measured by many people !
The 99's are universally known for being already warm headphones (you just have to put them on to notice that). A bass boost of up to 6 dB like the one suggested by iFi audio would put them way above the Harman curve from 20 to 300 Hz I don't know what measurement rig they used, or if they messed up with earpad seal during measurements, in order to obtain such a different curve. I just don't get it.
With that said, to each his own taste !
