I was initially against Alicorn Twilight, but I'm ok with it now. At least they handled it correctly in my eyes. And I can't imagine Hasbro did it just for the merchandising. If I were Hasbro and that truly was my plan, I would have introduced Alicorn Twilight and ended the series right there without paying for more episodes, when there's overwhelming evidence that there will be a season 4.

It's serious in the sense that we really do like My Little Pony (i.e. we're not here to troll).
I'm not a hardcore fan, but I enjoy the show. Some are more serious than others, but really, if you watch the entire show with an open mind, it's actually a really well made show.
