New Beyerdynamic Pro X line: DT 700 Pro X and DT 900 Pro X

They were up for pre-order, but now it says currently unavailable :disappointed_relieved: Did I miss out?
I was hoping to hear at least something about how they sound before I pre-ordered
how much was it like 300+ dollars? ,kinda pricey to blindly buy but i guess that's what returns are for. I don't like the DT990 600ohm premium edition. I only like the 250ohm Pro version. So odds are I probably wont like this new Pro X version so I'm not very excited about it.

I mean, we don't know anything about them in regards to tuning. They could be tuned exactly like the 770/990 or tuned completely differently. That information is just not public yet. So who knows, they could be right up your alley. Or they could end up not being up your alley. No way to know yet.

Yeah $329, that's about how much the DT 770/880/990 Premiums were in the past so it's definitely targeted as a new generation of DT headphones. They will likely drop in price in a year or two given Beyers tendency to drop in price. The big question is tuning and I want to see pictures of it's internals and the new driver.

Get rid of the 990 treble spike and tighten up the bass and they’ll have a winner.
what does tighten up the bass mean? you mean all those people who look at the harman target and think headphones are supposed to have a 200hz mud cut which is actually not how to properly do a bass boost and no headphones worth a damn actually do it? Was quite a surprise to me when I realized harman brainwashed people. Hurr durr bass bloom. No.

I mean tighten it up. My DT990 600 sound a little boomy to my
ear. IDK anything about the graphs or harman target.

Yeah, the Harman curve is way over-hyped. The sooner that beginning headphone fans forget about it, the better.
