Did I miss out?how much was it like 300+ dollars? ,kinda pricey to blindly buy but i guess that's what returns are for. I don't like the DT990 600ohm premium edition. I only like the 250ohm Pro version. So odds are I probably wont like this new Pro X version so I'm not very excited about it.They were up for pre-order, but now it says currently unavailable

Yeah $329, that's about how much the DT 770/880/990 Premiums were in the past so it's definitely targeted as a new generation of DT headphones. They will likely drop in price in a year or two given Beyers tendency to drop in price. The big question is tuning and I want to see pictures of it's internals and the new driver.
Get rid of the 990 treble spike and tighten up the bass and they’ll have a winner.

That might be right, given they will use dampening on the drivers, treble spike will more likely be reduced.
770 and 990 are legendary staples in the marketplace.
