This is my setup.
perhaps we had the latest version of Z80 that does not support USB DAC and reverse power in general :) you also have a tongue of protective film on the bottom, and I had it on top

I think is only one version of this player. And it's about android version 8.1

this function does not work for me and the user above. and I also asked the seller - he told me that this function(external USB-DAC) doesn't support :)
Also see a USB tester:

Do you have android 8.1.0? This feature is up to android version. If you don't have restricted custom ROM by seller it must work by setting in developer options. I'm sorry it's not working on your devices. I buyed the player from AliExpress and before ordered I asked seller if it supports USB audio and the answer was no, but when I tried it works.
What do you measure? I don't see the player to play something. Is in the background?

My quite old F.Audio S1 had some buttons got stuck, becoming unusable. I tried to open it to see if somehow can fix, after removing the back plate I noticed all buttons were working normally. When pushing the battery (gently!) the buttons stick again. It seem the battery swelled up a bit, maybe due to aging? (but battery life seems to be yet good) So I remounted the back plate without fully tightening the screws, and the S1 now works normally. It will still accompany me jogging 😁

Super cool that it has 3 sizes out, and is smaller like the mp3 players of old.

I have been A/Bing 3.5 and 4.4mm on the Clear with my Singularity, the difference is huge. 4.4 sound is fuller, and if i switch from 4.4 to 3.5 i am dissapointed. The other direction i am impressed. I personally don't care if there is a difference or like any plug better than the other, I am hearing a difference on my machine.
Though doing some reading and graph reading from the science folk, looks like some 3.5mm outs are not as good as their 4.4mm as installed - so could be the dap. I havent personally measured it.

Looks like it will function as a DAC too.

Looking for a DAP
- no taller than 100mm
- have USB out
- have good battery life

Is the Tempotec V3(D) the best for me or are there something else to consider? Thanks.

In the comments on Aliexpress, I see that they raved a lot about the software, that's why they obviously gave big discounts, so I would skip it, but of course that's just my opinion. My choice is F.Audio FA5 because i have FA4 and FA5 is stronger when it comes to hardware. But since it's a new model, I'm waiting to see comments and reviews

I have a f.audio T3 and yesterday updated the firmware to v. 10 after finished update it shuts down automaticly and then won't turn on at all. When charging and plugging in the PC there is no sign of life. I don't know if this is software or hardware failure.
Is there any way to fix it?
