When you get it fixed try using a magnetic usb charging cable... I've switched over to using a magnetic cable on my unit... works like a charm...

My last replaceable battery phone is back 6 years ago I remember.

Is it impossible to replace a battery on iPhone ? No, some technical guys/company can do that.

So after 2-3 years, if you want to replace the battery of dp-x1. I think you can get someone to do the job.

I'd be more than happy to pay to get it done. Anything is better than having almost $2,000 worth of paper weights sitting around.

If you can source the battery via the above link, I suspect any competent cell phone repair facility can install it for you as I believe the screen needs to be removed in order to do the replacement. Such facilities have the necessary equipment to accomplish this without damage to the device.

My DPX1A battery is not swollen and the device is still working great.

However, I am planning on taking the DP-X1A apart and replacing the battery myself sometime in the future.

My DP-CMX1 battery got swollen recently and I took it apart very easily, I am just waiting on the battery to arrive.

You will have to see what colors he has now. Also he will make what you want. The one I bought was already available and I liked the leather he had used. If you do get one from him please share a photo when it arrives. Excellent craftsman.
