That red TDS-5 picture last page sure is hard to stop looking at, as are BMF's picture of the portable jobs there.

What arrangement of micropore was it? 
if you want to get realllllllly fussy try the fuzzier side of the Arctic material facing the driver rear.
Is that a scene from 2001 A Space Odyssey?

I tried the 20mm micropore disc on the rear of the arctic cotton. (fuzzy side facing away)

@nick n - So I've actually gone back to the original HP-2 mod I posted. Treble is a touch brighter on this one, but just feels more exciting with wider soundstage.
