nice pics. i think you got just about all the bases covered there. i think they look great. it exentuates the retro grado look to have that little wooden button suck on there so random like.

Hahaha, if nothing else I was going to take pictures just for Jahn's reply.
For my first pair of Grado's I'm definitely digging them, the highs don't seem harsh to me at all (though I don't know how they compare to other's since like I said, first pair I've had or even listened to), but they do seem really clear in areas that my K271s can't touch, and the bass sounds really nice with a good amount of definition. This is all straight out of my computer with an Audigy blah blah blah (working on a NAD cd player) without an amp because I forgot to order an adapter. However, I have this nagging feeling that this is going to lead me into bad places a few months from now (RS...).
