It seems to have USB C and Micro inputs but only Micro slow charging... Too bad it's not fast charging with USB C.

USB C by itself won’t provide fast charging as you need hardware for it. But yes, fast charging should be in all devices in 2022

Not just about fast charging, but also the fact that I'll need to bring an additional cable that no other device ever uses (at least my lightning cable also charges my AirPods and are readily available). Micro USB has always been finicky in my memory and deteriorates ridiculously fast. Did they overstock on Micro USB connectors 10 years back?

Yes, they should have found a way to make USB C as data and charge port

The reason they keep micro usb is for compatibility with the poly.

Will it have user replaceable batteries? If not I'm out. I was quoted 2 thirds of the price of a new Mojo just for a battery replacement, which is a 5 minute job and a $20 - $30 single cell LiPo. In fact I've had so much expensive stuff with inbuilt, non user replaceable batteries that either cost stupid money for a battery replacement, or were no longer "serviceable" that I'll never again willingly buy another device with an non user replaceable battery. There should be a law forbidding inbuilt batteries IMO

At least I was able to remove the significantly swollen battery from my original Mojo and use it as a desktop dac as long as it's connected to a 10W or more charger.

Solution: release updated Poly at same time. This part of the implementation is a fail.
