Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

The Lyr 3 is pretty much my end-game HP amp for the headphone listening rig. My headphone rig is pretty much set. The Saga (a preamp -- not a HP amp) and Vidar would be for my 2-channel rig. My 2-channel rig could definitely benefit from an upgrade -- especially if I were to replace the ELAC speakers w/ Magnaplanar speakers.

If you upgrade your 2-channel system (Gumby - Saga - Vidar), keep the ELAC's so you can appreciate the shift before getting the Maggie's.

Not being a car guy, assumption is that it depended on which way they pulled up to the pump (driver side or passenger side).

Naturally you would pull up on the same side as the gas cap on your car but the bet had to do with the exhaust pipe. On a single exhaust car it is on the opposite side as the gas filler tube. He was not correct on all cars since some have dual exhaust and gas filler can be on either.

Absolutely. The ELACs would remain until all the electronics has been replaced. Even then, they will just transition to another room. The ELACs aren't going away.

Oh and Gumby is DEFINITELY on the list!

First mistake: You talked to her about it. :unamused:

Next Move: Check her purse and/or shoe situation as a potential come-back.

(Make sure you vacuum the coach and have a pillow and fresh sheets at the ready -- just in case.

Richard B. Riddick: You made three mistakes.
First, you took the job.
Second, you came light. A four man crew for me? ****ing insulting.
But the worst mistake you made...

[Toombs darts for the gun rack which he finds to be empty while Riddick smiles]

Richard B. Riddick: ...empty gun rack.

That is the exact reason I am upgrading speakers last.
I got good speakers first. Every time I put in a new piece of equipment I could hear a change. It is fun and addictive. Let me try this! No, that!

I think the meds are working now. All I need are even better speakers....
