I don't understand why companies make one cup headphones connection. Two cups connection is dead simple and durable.

Here is a photo of the driver HD 400 Pro of my copy, number 576672.HD 560S driver
A driver number NDH30 IE00576672.
And it seems to me that the membrane material is different, the color is different and in the HD400 Pro it is more transparent.
I will receive the HD 490 Pro Plus in a couple of days and take a photo of their driver number.

There's a fairly extensive review by someone on ASR, and over there they've discovered the driver is the same one as the HD 560S (same part no.) It's just mounted at a different angle and damped with different materials. Essentially a "pimped up" 560S much like what's been done with the T50RP. So while I wouldn't believe claims it can challenge headphones 2-3x its price, given how different the T50RP mods changes the sound, I'm sure these could be noticeably improved over the 560S. They can be quite critical over there, but they haven't ripped into these headphones in any way. They're not singing praises either like some reviews here. I guess it's best to expect these to perform well as a mid-fi headphone with a fair price point, but not a giant-slayer on par with higher price bracket headphones either.
I WONDER why the driver number is NDH-30...Here is a photo of the driver HD 400 Pro of my copy, number 576672.
