 How does RS10 compared to GS Audio series? RS10 is always on my wishlist, but the price is something not a “pick and buy” grocery style shopping item🥺

My GS SE11 is with Precogvision and won’t be back until.. who knows when 😂

edit: I will compare the RS10 vs SE12 soon

RS10 is a serious looker. A shame it's lacking a DD. I kid, I kid!!! (kinda)

A part of me is glad Softears is only available via channels I prefer not to patronize, hahaha. It has saved me a couple times from impulse purchases, specifically the Cerberus.

With GT12 will be interesting one too I know it’s not a fair comparison considering the price ratio of 10:1, but I will be receiving GT12 as well, some good benchmark👍

In this live recording, I can literally hear the audience breathing and occasional coughing more clearly than any other IEM in my possession.

I'm waiting for Softears to release the 1DD + 2BA hybrid. It's said to be tuned with a more fun signature (i.e. more bass emphasis). That'd be interesting to watch :) The RS10 is basically RSV with flatter/more neutral response, wider more expansive stage, and higher resolution to each note. The detail retrieval is amazing on these, as well as instrument positioning and direction

That is one interesting way to measure

Thank you!

The Turii is with another reviewer now. If I get my hands back on it, I’ll make that comparison shot
Thanks. Much appreciated...

I just listened to the RSV for 3 hours yesterday and it was an utterly sublime experience. A light touch of airiness is a good way to put it! And yet even with that there is great note weight. What an incredible IEM.
I agree, an incredible iem.
I slapped Satin Medusa cable on yesterday and proceeded to listen for hours. Just wow. Really makes me yearn to try their other offerings but, alas, cost inhibitive. Hoping for a Black Friday sale or something

According to Crin the RSV is probably tuned the best as of now anyways. I'm ok sticking with it. Technicities don't really do much for me.

Crin is not the guy for high-end IEM. I think it’s great that he shares is frequency response measurements, but he lacks the passion to appreciate details and nuances. He always only uses one source and he has never spent serious time with high-end amps or DACs. Also the way he squeezes his dB axis, now more and more IEM look like they would perform similarly. Although I don’t have anything better myself, is he wants to grow reach with his database, he needs to invest into a better coupler. At the very least, he should add proper distortion and phase measurements for comparison. It will be necessary going forward from here where we now have brands that can match a target curve at any price point (especially with EQ in TWS).

I also think he completely missed the excellence of the RS10 with his short „here‘s the FR, it tells me everything I need to know“ approach.

Anyway, I came here to share some good news for Europeans (or EU citizens). My friend just launched an online shop in Europe and is selling Softears. You can pre-order RSV at a discount.
