Yes I am a bit sad. My pair are starting to give up so I was just googeling for a new pair and ended up here. I'm not a DJ or a muscician. I'm just a guy who likes to zone out or rock out sometimes and the V700 has been great. Lots of bass and enough volume to use as remote speakers when out on a walk with a friend or two. Think I've had mine for over 10 years now. Only quality headphones I have to compare them with are the Beyerdynamic DT-250, which sound boring in comparison.
