I just swapped out the Apex 20 for the 15 in my A12t and so far I am liking the 15 more. I love the air and the bass is still very good.
I'm not surprised. The M20 is too bassy on my U18t.I just swapped out the Apex 20 for the 15 in my A12t and so far I am liking the 15 more. I love the air and the bass is still very good.
And, as it was mentioned by others, carrot is a solid piece of aluminum, painted orange It's for a "total" isolation.
Where are they available please?
Ehhh I doubt it’s online. Honestly it’s like,Can someone point me to the 64 Audio U12T manual online? I can't seem to find any link to one on 64 Audio's website. I purchased a 2nd-hand pair, and the seller neglected to include any of the original packaging, ear tips, or manual.
Pulls outMainly wanted for making sure I change the module correctly. Does it screw out, or pull out?
Pulls out
There was one guy who kinda detached the top part of the shell while taking the module out so I pinch the iem top and bottom and then take it out
I also think my A18 is about as flat as they come. Every instrument is sized correctly with the 18 and it is the first to accomplish this amazing feat for me. This is why I think it is the best CIEM in existence besting the Fourte'. Running the PWAudio tour, I had a lot of time to compare the cable on all my CIEMs but focused primarily on my top three - the 18, 12, and the Legend X. I found that the 18 sounded best to my ear with the 1960 which added an element of fun akin to a tube amp vibe. I tend to stick with the m15 as I love the truth it tells, but the 1960 added warmth and boosted the low end a bit without harming the flat response as all instruments remained evenly sized on that stage. My 1950 cable sits on the X as it makes the most difference there, but long for getting the 1960 again for my 18. The A12 preferred the 1980. In the end, the entire 1900 series was stellar.i hear more bass with the 1950, but would not say that the cable actually alters the overall flat frequency response of the 18. it's more of a subtle change that seems to make a big difference (kind of an oxymoron, i know, but this is pretty much what cables do.)
the best way i can describe my impression of the a18t with the 1950 cable is as follows:
using the 1950 cable, i can use the m20 module and have nearly all the high-end clarity of the m15 module, more bass, better overall detail, and better overall spatial cues.
when you read the above line, you might think the cable makes a significant difference...and it does...but it also doesn't.
imagine a beautiful piece of art...painted on the head of a pin. it's only noticeable (or, perceptible at all,) if you're really looking [listening] closely. cables 101.

I was listening to the 4 wire, but was told the 2 wire is very good too. However, I can tell you from experience that the 4 wire was outstanding.May I know if you are referring to 1960 2- or 4-wire please?
