Thanks for answering my question about the PW 1950. As an audiophile that has a good 2 channel system, I appreciate the differences cables make. It can sometimes be subjective and it's good to know the basic signature of the cable. In other words, I just want to have an idea of what to expect if I order one.

I get the impression that the 1950 must reduce bass if you can use the M20 module and say that it sounds like the M15.

I find the bass too inarticulate with the M20. Currently evaluating FIR's gold module that is like an M17.

I went ahead and order the PlusSound EXO Tri-Silver cable to pair with my U12t after meeting with Dan Feel @ offslip in a cafe today. Much more chilled environment to compare cables than a show.

I went with this one as it cleaned up the low end just the right amount and brought out more width in the soundstage. A noticeable bump in clarity over the various DIY or stock cables I own.

I wish I’d had time to listen to the Tri-Copper paired with a U18t, maybe next time - on my U12t I found the bass became too warm and thick for my liking, but the U18t has a lot more leeway in that part of the spectrum.

Next stop FIR atom xl modules to tune the sound to perfection (which is of course in the ear of the beholder).

Quite the contrary...I find that the 1950 strengthens the bass with either the m20 or m15 modules. I mentioned the m15 module, specifically in reference to the m15 highs. I felt that with the 1950 cable and the m20 module, the highs sounded similar to the m15.

It's difficult to know exactly what you mean when you say "inarticulate," but enhancing articulation is not a bad description for what I feel the 1950 does to the sound of the A18t. The amazing thing is that the stock A18 is the best iem i've heard, but I find the 1950 cable further enhances its sound, which is really impressive.

Thanks. By inarticulate I mean missing the clarity that allows one to hear the texture/character of the bass (e.g. bass instruments) .. or too phat & muddy. If the cable solidifies the bass without sacrificing detail (which perhaps is one way of me trying to describe what I think you're saying :)) then that's good.

I'm guessing it's inevitable that I will get the PW 1950, I'm too damn curious.

i find the texture of a18t bass (and across the frequency spectrum) to be among the best i've heard.

with the 1950 everything just sounds better to me...more lively and detailed.

it's still remarkable to me that a cable can do that, but that's what i hear.

My A12t seems to fit perfectly and loving the sound like I did when I tried the Universal. Since the A12t and Legend X both fit great, I am glad I drove an hour to get to a really nice and impression experienced audiologist. It means the difference between a great first fit and having to send back for adjustments.

Your A12t look nice, but please get rid of that hideous looking stock cable and get some nice looking cable to go with it:ksc75smile:, it like you dress in a tuxedo but wearing a slipper

For those who have tried the FIR modules with the A18t... any impressions? What’s this carrot module some individuals have mentioned?

I’ve been GREATLY enjoying my A18t with Leonidas II cable, and just wondering what can beat this...

The carrot module is a fully sealed one so you don’t get the benefits of apex. It’s not recommended by 64 audio. Those are not included with the fir atom modules.

Thank you for the quick response... I’m gonna go ahead a SCRATCH that off my list then...

I’m itching to see how the 1950s cable sounds against the LEO II... just when I thought the itch was done forever...

Feel free to drive to NW Houston and you can demo my cables. Did you not have the A18t when you had the PW Audio tour?

IMG_20190802_105852.jpg Hey everyone, just curious does 64 audio offer warranty for cosmetic defect ? The 'label ' on my fourte has came off (can't find the original label as it comes off while I was in transit)

dear 64audio users. i started with trio's and then managed to buy some 2nd hand u18t at the right price. still have trio's but u18t are suddenly on the fritz with a quiet left iem. so they will need repair. i am in australia and i would expect to be without the u18t's for months.

just today i have purchased fourte's second hand (what could go wrong?) and i presume they will get posted monday. i could have bought u18t instead though and now i am wondering if i should have. i like them alot. from the red case to the wonderful detail and bass. i had recently experimented with the isolation options and had decided on m20. so "tough" as a sound. but so detailed! quite thrilling.

is there something startling the fourte's will show me that i need to see or should i go back to the u18t well and buy another pair?
