What is your favourite diamond-themed song?
My vote goes to Judas Priest's live version of Joan Baez' Diamonds And Rust from their live album Unleashed In The East.

Obviously Diamonds are forever Shirly Bassey
This one came to my mind immediately! I’m a huge James Bond soundtrack fan. I love (nearly) all Bond themes!

Teach us your ways oh wise one! Though I doubt I could ever get down to just a single iem. I feel like I need some variety every now and then so maybe 3 would be a good number for me.For the first time in about 5 years I am a one IEM guy :O

I don't think it's a skill or lesson to be learned so much as a matter of personal temperament. My tendency in this and other areas is to try and find one thing that does everything I want rather than seek out variety for its own sake. Further, I really don't like the hassle of having to choose from a variety of IEMs or sources what is right for this scenario or that or what strikes my mood on a given day or time of day-- I actually found having too many options to be a little anxiety inducing. I just want to grab and go with minimal thought a the beginning of the day. This is what I was really after from the beginning-- it just took me a long time to play the field sufficiently to get a real feel for its breadth and scope, and my preferences within it. It wasn't just a matter of finding the right IEM either-- it was the combination of source and IEM that in this case has taken me out of the hobby for the time being. The social aspect, however, is priceless and I'm very grateful for it.

You definitely need the Lancelot cable for Monachaa

It sounds like a restriction to say it, but it feels like liberation to live it!

Cannot wait to see a direct comparison if you are planning that… welcome to the blue bird clubI am on a different trajectory it seems.. Two new arrivals today (and two more coming in… )

Perfect color match. How about this, if you don't buy the Monachaa you sell me the cable!
I have the CJ SG video playing in the background and something caught my attention. Apparently, there's another version of the Elysian Pilgrim that'll be at CJ SG.
Elysian Pilgrim Noir
- Upgraded version
- 1DD+3BA (4-way crossover instead of 3-way on regular Pilgrim)
- More full bodied tonality
- Further refined treble
- Comes with an Effect Audio Eros S cable in new colorway
I wonder how much of a price increase this will be over the Pilgrim. This might be a better set for the folks who had negative impressions of the Pilgrim at CJ NY.
