I have the CJ SG video playing in the background and something caught my attention. Apparently, there's another version of the Elysian Pilgrim that'll be at CJ SG.

Elysian Pilgrim Noir
- Upgraded version
- 1DD+3BA (4-way crossover instead of 3-way on regular Pilgrim)
- More full bodied tonality
- Further refined treble
- Comes with an Effect Audio Eros S cable in new colorway

I wonder how much of a price increase this will be over the Pilgrim. This might be a better set for the folks who had negative impressions of the Pilgrim at CJ NY.

I loved Pilgrim as a specialist-- curious to hear this one. I'm still waiting for that "perfect " Elysian IEM experience for my tastes.

Look at Hifiman. When I first got here you had to get Hifiman wares on Ebay and it came in a janky box for RE0. Now they have Susvara, which is one of the most well regarded headphones out there. Everyone has humble beginnings...
But not all who have humble beginnings stick around...

Give me some of that Pilgrim love. I loved the one I heard at CanJam, really looking forward to further thoughts and now comparisons

For the first time in about 5 years I am a one IEM guy :O :D
Approximately how many did you have to try to find your one? There should really be a glass slipper analogy here, but I don’t think having a glass ear would be a good thing.
I bought my first IEMs about 1.5 years ago and then bought 3 more in the last few months. One set sits at my work desk. I’ve been making lists of what to try next. I think it’s going to get expensive.

So far I’ve only tried Campfire. I picked up Holocene and Ara used, but got caught up in FOMO for Black Star (but it’s really good). I’m in a research holding pattern for the moment. I feel like I should explore other sound signatures and manufacturers at more moderate price levels before reaching that deep into my pocket again. There’s just so many new releases all the time it’s hard to stay informed.
