MK9 buffer is way more wider and double PCB layers, there is no way to fit this inside of xd05pro unit with door closed.
MK8 buffer seems to be the same size as typical empty dip8 socket, but has little bit higher feet.

I'm using MK8 buffer it's very thin only and I'm sure will fit inside XD05 Pro.
On my Aroma Audio A100TB, I'm using Burson V5iD installed onto MK8 buffer.
The sound is weird at first sounds muffed but after 15mins onwards of run-in, the sound settled down. I would say the bass have more quality than before (very noticeable), and micro details can be easily heard (like singer breathing etc).
It's not day and night difference but just subtle differences that makes me enjoy my music even more! It also won't changes the sound signature of your setup.

Thanks, but I want to use it for Aroma Air that only has very minimum height space left, so I want to know if this buffer is thicker than empty dip8 socket or not

If you using MUSES02 on MK8 buffer, for sure will fit your Aroma Audio Air.
HA8802 will not fit as the height is too tall, unless you don't want to close the top cover

I can thank the Amazon seller that the xduoo service responded to the problem. After that, I kept in touch with the xduoo service by email.

Got a usb charger station, it can charge xd05 pro with PD or QC port at 12V, and it can be used as external supply at 12V without
flipping the switch to ext after turning it on. very happy with it.

I got mine too. Good quality and nice design match. However the fan is noisy. Wish it had rpm speed control
