how´s the mammoth ?

dunno. I havent cracked it open yet.

Had some time with the Holocene yesterday and also spent several hours trying to fix my cd player (skipping) in my home system which i am not technically qualified for. I think its good now.

probably going to open the Mammoth tomorrow i expect. (Work is finished and its kids time - dinner to cook, showers to irganize, bags to pack, washing to hang up)….soon

I will have a bit of a Holocene listen tonight though - its been playing whilst i was at work…

It will probably sound closer to a dorado then Polaris.
What type of signature is the Dorado? I sold the Polaris II's last year and I considered them an aggressive V....

I just ordered some Mammoths (and actually woke up this morning and also ordered some EE Legend X Special Editions....I feel drunk on power)

I love the Jupiter but the Andros were such a technical improvement it's little wonder the Jups were largely lost to time.
I feel better about not demoing the Jupiter now. Thanks!
I purchased the Andro’s because I wanted to see what Campfire Audio could do with 5 BA’s. Obviously it was a success on so many levels. The one thing that kept me from going back to them was the shorter sound bore nozzle. I had to fiddle more than I liked to in trying to keep proper seal/insertion depth. Seeing that the Holo’s have the same nozzle as the Ara’s made me feel 100% ready to pull the trigger on them. I hope we get some graphs and impressions on these soon….like today! Hahaha

Is the c/2019 Q4 same as Andro MW10?

From reviews i guess the Dorado more L shaped, thighter bass and better mids then polaris. Mammoth i assume will be L shaped oriented too, or max U shaped., since it has an extra driver for the mids and the bio celulose diafragm, but will see.

I agree , i have polaris 2 and they have the mids a bit to recessed and can´t listen to them at higher volumes. Would like something with more mids or fuller mids but with fun factor of the polaris, which i enjoyed.

No, they're not the same. But they're both released together December 2019 here in Japan. The C/2019 has 3 drivers, and tuned with a flatter neutral sound. While the MW10 has 5, and tuned similar to the green Andromeda 2020

IMO, my MW10 sounds better and has a better bass response than than my Andro 2020. I'm actually interested in a comparing an Andro 2019.

Is it just me, more do these look more like the Andromeda Gold/Ara shell?

I've also heard conflicting reports that these are 1:1 for the Andromeda 2020, which is different than the aforementioned.
