Chord Mojo 2 EQ settings

Excellent explanation than confirms my understanding that the 4 Mojo 2 filters are shelves filters, 2 low in bass y 2 high in trebles so with this kind of filters it is not possible to get the oramory EQ curve as said by other user.
They are not all shelf filters, the first filter at 20hz (red) and the last filter at 20khz (light blue) are peaks. On the Mojo 2 thread I provided measurements of the filters set to maximum (+9db) to give an idea of their shape.

Hey all... about to listen to the LCD-XC (2021 revision) with the Mojo 2 > Violectric 202 for a while. Was wondering if anyone might have some Mojo EQ settings which might work nicely with the Audezes?

Cheers,

Alan

it is not possible to get that equalizer curve with the Mojo 2, the Mojo only has 4 filters with fixed frequency and Q:

Peak 20 hz Q 0.71 -/+ 9 db
Low Shelf 150 hz Q 0.71 -/+ 9 db
High Shelf 2.4 khz Q 0.71 -/+ 9 db
Peak 20 khz Q 0.71 -/+ 9 db

These don't quite agree with what is in the manual (125 Hz and 3 kHz). My guess is that these are more correct including the Q values? It rather easy to set up a 4 band custom parametric on AutoEQ with the fixed frequencies and get a decent curve.

the two shelf filters are at 150hz and 2.4khz not 125hz and 3khz as written in the manual, I measured the responses of all the filters via an ADC and I assure you that the values are those I also have the results of the measurements if you are interested

I assumed yours were more accurate (based on your measurements and graphs), just wanted to validate the frequencies and Q values. Thank you for the information - and the measurements!
