@FiiO please help!

Recently updated the software, and now the FiiO Music app keeps crashing. Tried shutting the M11 Pro down and restarting but it doesn't help. Any suggestions please?

Anyone else having this issue?

It must have within the week...I was on vacation and didn't set up wifi on my Fiio where I was. I noticed the update the first time I tried using it since I got back home today. I have no idea what to do but hoping to get it fixed before Wednesday so I can use it at work!

I'd just remove it from your DAP and load it again via the memory card...

Thanks. How do you remove and re-add the music player app? I didn’t think it would let me since it’s pre-installed.

Happy to see they added sorting by year at least!

Edit: Nevermind, was able to uninstall it using ES File Manager. Seems to be working now, but it’s the old version. After scanning all my songs, it asked me if I wanted to update again to the latest version. I figured I’d give it one more try and, same issue.

DO NOT install the latest update until Fiio fixes it. It crashes the music app every time you try to open it.

Did you update the FiiO Music app for version older than 3.0.5? If yes, there may be crashing problem after updating to V3.0.9. And now this problem has been solved. (OTA update would not get this problem anymore.)
Please try to clear the data for the app from system settings- -apps- FiiO Music app-store -clear data. Then restart the FiiO Music APP. Does the issue remain?

I did the apk update and it crashes upon opening. First time I've had problems with the updates.

Edit: Applied FiiO's data clearing tip and it's working.

I updated from 3.08 so maybe that's the difference.

It will delete the data like play settings and playlists. But not the music files.

I found that, but I’m trying to find a way to update it directly from the device. There was a message that popped up at first asking me to update to 3.0.9 but I ignored it, now I can’t find how to update it.

Download Hiby Music and load APK. I like it better than Fiio Music.
