I found that, but I’m trying to find a way to update it directly from the device. There was a message that popped up at first asking me to update to 3.0.9 but I ignored it, now I can’t find how to update it.

This is the direct link to the update, download and install:

Thanks again! Sorry, I know you sent this before (or someone did). I was away from my computer for a couple days so I was trying to see if I could download directly from the device, but once I got back to my computer I was able to download and install.

The app still crashed when trying to open it, but the "Clear Data" tip worked for me as well.

I have scanned this forum and the web to no avail….

Can I disable the function that stops/starts music play when I unplug my earphones?

Does the M11 Pro fit into cases for the Plus? Grabbed a pro last week and case availability is not great.

The M11 Pro is smaller than the M11+, so technically it will fit, but the buttons, etc won't line up. I'd say no.

I bought an A6 easecase from ebay for my M11 Pro - took a couple weeks to get it but it's a great little leather case that you can customize all kinds of ways - last I checked they were still on there - they are made to order I think.

Dear friend,

This feature could not be turned off and it is a normal phenomenon, so please don't worry.

Best regards

Thanks for the response @FiiO .

A few times I have unplugged my earphones when I put the DAP away for the day, only to find that the next day the battery is dead because it was playing with nothing plugged in all night. I don't get the logic behind this function.

You can click the 'enter sleep' icon on the home page and tap on it to have the player enter sleep mode before putting the DAP away to see whether it helps?

Best regards

With my M11 Pro, I have two wireless IEM's. These are the Sony XM4, and a new Grell Wireless TW1.

Problem: On the M11 Pro, The Grell will not get very loud. I turn up the M11 Pro volume control all the way to 120, and at this level, it's almost satisfactory in a quiet room. But will not get any louder, no matter how much I fiddle with the Grell. So is it the Grell's issue? Maybe not. Because when I connect the Grell to my iphone, I have plenty of volume. So is it the M11 Pro? Maybe not. Because I get plenty of volume from the Sony XM4 on the M11 Pro.

So is it the combination of M11 Pro and Grell that is just not a happy marriage? How can I get counseling for them so that I can get much more volume with the M11 Pro and the Grell?

Can anyone help? Thank you.

(BTW, I bought the Greel at the NY CanJam, and it really sounds fantastic. I think better than the Sony. Cost is $200 non-show)

You didn't say whether you are using High Gain on the M11Pro.

You are correct. I tried with high gain on and off. Same thing.

With my Sony, it doesn't matter, as I have loud audio either way,
Dear friend,

Please try to update to latest firmware and enable Disable absolute volume option in M11Pro to check again?
Go to System Settings -> About device
Tap on the 'Build number' for 7 times to enable the Developer options
Return to System Settings, enter Developer options and toggle on the ' Disable absolute volume' option

Best regards

Done. Before adjusting, it was "on." I toggled it to "off." Before this adjustment, moving the FIIO M11 Pro to 120 on the volume scale yielded a barely acceptable volume level. Now, at 120 it is just a bit too much, which is a significant increase from before, and not a comfortable level for long term. But still nowhere near the volume level of the Sony XM4. Again, on my iphone, there is much more volume with the Grell.

Leaving it at 100 on the M11 Pro is now acceptable in a quiet room, and I don't need more in this environment. Also, perhaps unrelated to the M11 Pro, the level I mention above is when I have ANC on. Interestingly, ANC off gives lower volume.

So, at the moment, fine. I don't have a great seal with my Sedna Xelastic, so I probably won't be listening in a noisy environment in which I would need to turn the volume up more, since I like being able to hear, as a general principle.

I do find that the Grell has noticeably better sound quality than the Sony Xm4 (which itself has good sound quality). The sound seems....clearer.

Edit: Ran the Sound App. Volume is now more than acceptable.

Further Edit: Range seems a lot less than with Sony IEM.
