After quite some time I managed to have a special cable built for the Hifiman HER10D and connected to the ifi GO bar it literally makes them explode... great synergy!!!

If you want to give your ifi GO bar some truly fantastic IEMs at a ridiculous price I recommend the PULA PA02... they have a stratospheric price/quality ratio and a synergy that is nothing short of magical with the GO bar... try them and let me know what what do you think (if you can still talk after listening to them) lol

Glad we are both enjoying our GO Bar while others are running around for the new and latest dongles (including me, please ifi hold out and only release v2 when necessary ) Your extensive collection of iems is crazy! i was going to synergise you with the IE900 but i see you’ve got the Sony IER-Z1R Would like to give em a try!
Given how the prices of TOTL iems have risen today, the price of the IER-Z1R is almost no longer scary... while its performance is of absolute importance, especially if equipped with an Effect Audio Ares 8W and Final E tips. To overcome the its performance by a good margin inevitably ends up in the territory of 3k euros and above. The GO bar for its part remains unquestionably a dongle with an extraordinary sound as long as you don't ask the impossible of it by connecting it to IEMs that are particularly light in terms of ohms, I don't like how i.e. match works on the sound, I prefer to make it sound with the right iem.

I had always used the "bit perfect" filter believing that it was the most analogue sounding and therefore I thought it was the best... but after an in-depth reading of a review here on head fi I decided to try the filter called Gibbs-Transient -Optimized (GTO). Practically the fif GO bar has reached a whole other level of sound representation. It always remains very analogue, it always keeps excesses at bay in the highs, but it also does many other things... starting with the stage which widens greatly, everything becomes more three-dimensional and ultra-defined, the air at the top between the instruments increases exponentially. Not to mention what it does to the PULA PA02... which now really can rival the best IEMs also in terms of technicality, as well as just for balance and tonality. This ifi GO bar + PULA PA02 pair fears no comparison... they seem made for each other... truly a very high level and I speak absolutely without any comparison. Obviously the credit goes to both products and above all to the incredible synergy that is obtained by using them together... it can represent an excellent end game.
