Then that is reffering to the "getter" inside the Tube, and that's a matter of speculation that's best asked in a tube rolling thread, I would go with "Square" Or "D" shaped "getter"

Yes the Pin configuration of the Tube does not change, only the Inside parts of the Tube referred to as the "Getter" both will work

I will check on this for you when folks return after the holiday break. There seem to be more and more products not including any batteries anymore, but I completely understand your point here.

Only if you need them for different products, it will work just fine with all iFi gear with the attached cable. The Adapters are for functional use with other products.

Hello, sorry for any issues this may have caused you, but it is correct now that units with remotes and so forth are unfortunately not including batteries.

Apparently, it is becoming a bigger issue and customs and shipping situations.

I myself have noticed this as well, even if they were cheap knockoff batteries they were included. Our world is changing, and even some of the inexpensive gear I get in no longer has them, toys everything it's becoming normal, sadly.

Has anyone compared the sound of the Pro iDSD Signature to a Denafrips Ares 12th-1? I know price wise completely different ballparks but I have an iCan Pro Sig and I am looking to upgrade my dac from a D30Pro. I was eyeballing the Bifrost 2/64 and the Ares 12th-1, but stumbled across a like new/open box iDSD Pro Signature for $1900. It'd be used for DAC duty only, just curious on thoughts between this and Multibit/R2R.

If only looking at it for DAC use alone is it worth twice the price of the others?

Is this product discontinued? I was looking to finally purchase the iCan Signature, and it is not available on iFi website, nor anywhere else, except Audio46 where there was 1 left. If it has been discontinued, is there a reason why? Did the Phantom replace both the iDSD Signature and the iCan Signature? That is the only TOTL amp I see on their site atm....

I get the feeling a new Pro Series DAC is coming soon, but thats just guessing based on their instagram teases, I have no actual info. I suppose this might have meant the new goBar, but that doesn't look like the photo?

To my knowledge, the product has not been discontinued. And the Phantom was not intended as a "replacement" so to speak, kind of a new animal, lol

Yes, I saw that! Glad to hear it.

You can always check our sister site for this and a few more products as there are crossover products that appear in our "Main" line and also our "Pro Studio" line.
