Jason, any idea when Gen 2 boards might be available again for self install? I have a Bifrost and Yggdrasil I need to upgrade and am too lazy/cheap to ship them in for upgrade.

Assume you mean Gen 5?

It's less a problem of cost, and more a problem of fit. Doing it balanced all the way through would mean a product the size of an Yggdrasil, and about the cost of an Yggdrasil. Balanced I/O with SE internals is Freya sized, and half the cost.
This is why eventually you will add the limited production tab to your website. Sure, it will be slower moving more expensive (so you can profit) products, call it the constipation page, but with a growing and aging customer base they (we) will will buy it. You have already thought of all kinds of Yggy size products, Ragnarok is getting lonely.....

That's not the Ventura county fire, is it, Jason? Wow. Thought it may be either the Rye or Creek fires. I was in Woodland Hills the other day and snaking my way through the various fires.

That was the beginning of the Rye fire--in the morning before it jumped the freeway, then in the afternoon after it spanned the 5.

Still good so far.

I got in the AcuPwr in from your side of the pond today.
Guess what.
Instant succes. BIG step up in SQ for only $299 and a bit of headaches for Santa.
No Schiit.
It's a ridiculous great upgrade.

I really should just order these... I do keep meaning too! I don't suppose you could take some photos of it as the ones on their site are a bit rubbish.

How does it help if about every piece of Schiit has a bunch of very good voltage regulators inside? Or is it about the noise on you power line?
