OMG I almost want to buy one just because of how pretty it is. I mean I'm already using Lyr 3 so I probably don't need one, but this is so pretty.

It's quite possible a tube swap could have tamed things a bit, but my Mjolnir will be back on Monday and it's back to its sweet, smooth sound for me.

Normally I'd say almost any tube amp the stock tube is quite........... terrible...... LOL. I think they just assume anyone who buy tube amp will want to swap in their own tube so they try to save cost by having whatever cheapest tube is as stock tube.

On top of it I think my tubes generally setting in after 2-3 days?

That being said, if you already have MJ3 and it's on its way back soon then I understand why you don't want to invest further in this lol.

I will, whenever it finally gets here. I have Magni+, Heretic and Piety on hand to compare it to. Also an Asgard3 and Valhalla2.

Would the Vali 3 offer a "tubier" sound when pad rolling than the Vali 2++? I've currently got a 5670 5-star in a Vali 2++ and enjoy it quite a bit. I also have a Gold Lion via an adapter but prefer the 5670. What more would the Vali 3 bring to the table sonically versus the Vali 2++?

How does the Vali 2+/2++/3 compared to Valhalla 2 or even OTL like xDuoo TA-26? Is the sound more tubey / holographic? I have the latter paired with Sennheiser HD800S and ZMF Atticus, streaming out of Cayin N7 3.5mm-to-RCA. Thinking about Modi Multibit and Vali 3 for my first Schiit.
