I'm guessing the ET3 is a very niche product for you, but since it's a problem it has had since its release, we're talking about a firmware issue that hasn't been fixed for eight months. That seems a bit too much to me.
It took JBL over 3 years to fix an issue for me (and others) with a product that was retailing for about 5K. So I think we differ in opinion if 8 months seems a bit much.

I do agree with you that it's definitely not the greatest feeling in the world to have to wait for something you want to happen now. Hope they get to it sooner than later and you can be happy with the ET3.

Is it possible to find this new remote control on any store or is it necessary to contact the company? I'm always afraid of breaking the old. Thanks
Please contact your local distributor for replacement remote.

I've bought the ET3 for a few days. But there is a problem with I2s connection to the Gustard R26 DAC. When i play CD, everytime I stop/pause the CD, it generates noises (clicks and pops) in my system. But when I use the Coxial connection, this problem disappears. Is there anyone here having the same problem? @Shanling

Please what is exact pinout of your cable? Gustard I2S is not fully compatible with the pinout on ET3. Do you have custom made cable or using just basic cable?

I've been using the basic cable for ET3 and Gustard R26. So does the problem come from I2S cable?
The I2S pinouts between our ET3 and Gustard are not matching, so it can result into some playback issues.

Hi @Shanling . It remains unclear to me: is the ET3 supposed to play gaplessly? My firmware is 1.5 and it does not. Thanks!

It apparently isn't truly gapless. There is a nearly imperceptible pause.

That being said, I can't hear any appreciable gap.
