Would love to get my red halo refurbed! It’s around 1.5-2 years old and still my fav iem to this day.

I had sent in my Fusang and Mest 2 because the sockets were a little loose. In addition to the work done on the sockets, they came back fully spruced up and polished! It was like getting back brand new pairs of customs. Great work from the UM team!

This tends to happen with 2pin unfortunately. I wish all iems manufacturers can move on to p-ear connector.
p-ear is better for those who like cable rolling.
Since the spring component is on the cable connector side (instead of iem), it would be easier to replace when it's getting loose.

Yeah that or recessed 2 pin sockets. Flush mount makes absolutely no sense. They give us CIEM cable with flush mount connectors and the pins bend, the female side always get loose, just give us recessed sockets and everything is secure!

Well folks I took the plunge and purchased the UM Mest MK3, only had a few hours with them so far, but really enjoying what I'm hearing . Looking for cable and tip recommendations, currently using EA Ares S x Cadmus Xmas cable and Spinfit W1 with them. I also have the EA Eros S and Ares S 8W

Eros S 8W is one of my favorite cables with Indigo, MK3 isnt far behind.. I suspect you'll like that pairing.

I really like final audio tws tips, they are shorter than the e series tips but are incredibly soft so they form to my canals better than most tips. Here's my meat setup.

They're not really comparable...one is the flagship the other is in the middle. Still, both can hold their own.

I liked Indigo WAY more, one of my alltime favorites, soundwise. Mentor was really boring to me.
