My HF2's are splitting right at the point where it connects with the jack.... How would you guys treat this, to slow down the damage? Shrink tubing? Electrical tape?   How would you guys be tackling this, if it were your IEMs?   Thanks guys!!

  So like many others on here, I pulled out the spring by accident. I read the threads, and even watched the video on how to get it back in... I must be the dumbest person ever,  because I could NOT get it back in. So i got frustrated and destroyed the spring...   What would be my next...

So now the left channel for Ipod Touch will intermittently go out. This is the 2nd time, my 2nd Ipod. I do not want to brick another ipod! ...I gave my mom the first one.... she only EVER listens to music in one ear.... she's paranoid and likes to hear her surroundings on the train :P. Doubt...

This is the third pair that I've had that one ear just stops working. It has only been like 2 weeks since I had them replaced by ETY. Good thing they honor their warranty, but the combined shipping to and from could have bought me something useful.... Anyone else have this trouble? I don't even...

Thats what I've noticed on my Etymotic HF2s. Switching to Shure olives seems to make the cord noise that I experienced with the flanges, and the regular foam tips that came w/ them disappear. Tapping it hard still makes noise, but the rubbing against the zipper of my sweater when I walk which...

I searched all over thinking there had to be a thread on this to no avail.... Now, I know that supposedly hf5's are supposed to be better... but to those who have tried both, is the difference noticeable? What exactly is supposed to be better? Thank you!

Hey everyone, Sorry if this has been asked, didn't find it after a search. What size Shure foams are closest in size w/ the stock black foamies that come with Etymotic HF2's? Anyone know somewhere cheaper than 26 dollars for 5 pairs? Last question: Do they really last that much longer...
