I read somewhere that from a sound perspective it is better to have the gain on high rather than low. Quick question as regards Amp 9 then , is it better from a sound perspective to have the special Amp 9 gain on or off with IEMS (that don’t necessarily need the special high gain Amp 9)

thanks I did update successfully. No left hand channel hiss for me. I struggled to find the AMP9 special high gain toggle for a little while though , as it only shows in the settings menu if you scroll down, wasn’t very intuitive

I agree. I like Neutron a lot and I find it much easier to navigate my music on a SD card. My only issue is that sometimes the DX2xx can get super hot but in the latest release from Neutron this seems to be better, or maybe it’s because I remove the player from its leather case.

Have been trying Amazon Ultra HD streamed to an Ibasso dx209 , using the Amazon android App and coaxial into the Hugo2. I only have a red light in the glass window of the Hugo2. Does this mean for sure that the coaxial output from the Ibasso is only 44.1kH rather than 192 ?

Well YES is my favourite band but as regards OYE it’s debatable if it’s a really a YES recording. certainly their worst album to my ears. Suggest you put one of Steven Wilson’s YES remixes on instead -:)
