Hello   I have got a picky question here.   I want to buy the M50, but i was wondering if anybody could confirm that the coiled cable don't pull in the left side??   It is as i said "a picky thing" but is there any pulling at all or can you fell it?   Thanks

so i just ordered my m50's coiled and they came last week and i love them but it's bass anemic. I have broke them in for about 14 hours with just white noise, heavy drums, and track overlaps (like 50 songs overlapped) and another like 30 with normal listening thanks to some traveling, and still...

It has now been a year since I've owned my M50s, and I think I really need to upgrade now. I loved the bass on my M50's, so keep in mind that I'm looking for a lot of bass. I'm not sure whether or not to upgrade my headphone amplifier, unless I need to. My budget is around $600-700.  

i only have about 10-20 hours on my Audio technica m50 coiled cable but songs are starting to sound real crackily   im not sure if its my iphone.   im pretty sure its not the audio file.   i bought them from itunes   has anyone else had this same problem?

I got one myself, it's the best portable rig for m50. laptop doesn't match in sound quality. 

Edit: Apparently I had a defective M50 that had very recessed mids. This mod does not apply anymore.  The M50's recessed mids always annoyed me because most of my cans have decent to smooth midranges. The M50's mid just didn't do it for me.    Here's a way to make it less recessed.  ...
