My Andromeda 2020. First high-end IEM and still a gatekeeper of resolution and soundstage imaging 3 years later.

Looking forward for a true successor of this sound signature.
It's a nice colorway here! Good earphones+cable+tips look. What tips are you using? They look cool, might have to pick some up to check them out.

Anyone care to taste my 4 year-old ATLAS? 😊

I love this IEM. I’ll never sell it. This is a mainstay in my sonic world and a traveling guru. 😁
Many thanks to the CFA team. You guys helped give me sanity when I take the train to work. 🤝
Awesome! Glad to hear it! Yeah, I think Atlas has got that extra kick that makes it perfect for taking it out and about. Happy to know you're enjoying it :)

Have owned three CA IEMs in the past - IO, Polaris 2 and Andromeda S (which I regret selling!).
This thread has me thinking I should jump back in - particularly interested in a 2020 Andromeda as I've never heard / owned that one, but some of the new releases also seem appealing from the reviews I've read.

They are spring tips from Moondrop. Well known for preserving treble and thinning out lower mid and midbass. It’s a stickier version of your stock silicone tips.

The cable is the stock cable from Dunu Falcon Ultra. I’m still looking for a replacement cable for andro 2020, as this cable is also a bit too stiff.

I’m a sucker for pretty pictures. More, more.
I first heard about Campfire watching a Darko video several years ago about the Comet, but I wasn’t remotely interested in headphones or IEMs at the time. I was (and still am) heavily invested in my speaker setup. It did get my attention though. Started buying headphones about 2 years ago, and then bought one of the last available Onyx in late ‘22 as my first IEM. But it seems things are now accelerating. I had barely received my Marketplace Holocene when I impulse bought Black Star. And I couldn’t be happier about it.

Glad that there is finally a central thread for all things Campfire.

Speaking of favorite combos, I could live happily with this setup for the foreseeable future: Supermoon + LPGT + C9. A bit bulky to carry around but very manageable when on the desk or by the bedside.

Thanks for checking out our new offerings! Andro 2020 sometimes pop up on the CA Market site. BlackStar is a great option in this realm as well. If you have any questions about any models let us know!

Looks awesome! Bet it sounds great too. Not surprising that there's an overlap between HiFi enthusiasts and photography skills

Really cool to hear how folks get started on their IEM journeys. Thanks for nabbing BlackStar, glad you're liking them!
