Only burned-in 20 hours (lazy man) :joy:

Prefers vocals than Ragnar.

Odyssey , I still don't like the sub bass/bass . (tastes and preferences depending on the person)

It is necessary to change cable if seriously comparing other. :smile_cat:

Odin is very comfortable so should be OK.

Yippee. It's the original release date for Odyssey. Now we (most of us?) only have to wait another month for the changed release date.

Hard not to think the switched release date is purely a manufactured change by A+K to get an extra month of PR/marketing/hype out of it... at the expense of their customers.

Hi folks,

The e-mail adress for technical/support question is support@empireears.com ???

I sent email last week, no answer.
And also private message to @Jack Vang and nothing :frowning2:

PM replied! Apologies for the delayed response.

Ok so let me get this straight. An American company makes the product here and ships it to Korea so they can ship it back to US distributors? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Or EE agreed to only make product for overseas for now and we Americans play second fiddle? SMH

Odysseys are shipped directly to AK from our Norcross, GA lab but distribution is at their sole discretion and I have no idea how their logistics work. We just shipped out the final batch today so the remainder of pre-orders should be fulfilled soon! Thank you all for your immense support and patience! :beerchug:

The shells are very large.

The Odyssey utilizes a modified version of the EVO's shell with updated curvatures for improved ergonomics. I wish we could make it smaller but every bit of real estate is occupied by the large drivers inside.

Always impressive to see how packed the internals of high end in ears are. So much technology goes into making listening to music more enjoyable.

How long does it take to build one of those? That looks like a very intricate process, and it’s something I used to do in college, but I did medical devices.
According to their website:

"Each stage of Odyssey’s production is hand-built by one master technician and engineer and passed onto the next, guiding each pair along its journey to
completion through 10 stations for a total of 9 hands-on hours per set."

Finally took the brave step and got an EE Odin to pair with the Cayin N8ii - was a bit underwhelmed at first and felt uncomfortable with the stock tips, but after changing to the Azla Crystal and let it burn in a bit more, my god I am in heaven now.
Get CP155, engage Power+ mode and be blown away!
