Is the utopia at the SF Meet? Any impressions?
yes, Utopia and Elear are there. Utopia and Cavill Gold are very good.used Kimble Axis balance.
Neutral, open, dynamic. More like silk and smooth. I find Utopia, HDC Comp4, and W22 is top notch combination.
I ran utopia,DHC,qp1r and ALO CDM are very good for mobile. Of course, Jack asked me about his W8 to CDM. I told him W8 is a ltitle too much tubI sound and CDM is more open and dynamic. So far spent about 4.5 hrs listening Utopia and Elear only. Now, I need to get out for lunch.

That's great to hear! Looking forward to more impressions.
open type headphones in open room and lots of talking are very hard to truly describING it's signature. Leak sound from Ether Flow swim to your ears. Basically, need room by yourself to portrait the exact sound and signature. Light hearing between Utopia and LCD 4. They are next to each other.

The comment about the Utopia being nothing at all like the LCD4 got my attention.
The LCD4 is a very non-fatiguing headphone, but still full of resolution, and this combination is the holy grail of headphones or high end audio in general to me.

That's what a balanced signature means to me. So what could be sound that is nothing like that? Does this mean that the person who feels this way finds the LCD4 boring (or something else)?
Does it mean the Utopia is somehow over the top or shrill or too strong with popular music say, or with recordings suffering from digital glare or overdone digital punchiness?

[I don't want to give the impression that I'm disagreeing or even skeptical about how the commenter finds the LCD4, in fact several have said that. I just thought the idea that the Utopia was the opposite somehow of the Audeze was startling. If I have misquoted things or paraphrased wrong, apologies in advance of course and I stand corrected.]
Thank you.
