That's not good.  Do you know anyone with a swimming pool or hot tub?
 
And, as bad as it sounds, you can get water out of the tank of a toilet, which is supposed to be fine.  Not the bowl.
 
Still, I'd probably bleach it.  I think the ratio is 1/4 teaspoon per gallon.

Yes, but usually not this big and not near large urban areas.

No, we're fine. No deaths reported, only a couple of significant injuries, lots of minor injuries.

mmm... latest reports are that the water supply might take days to fix. I'm EXTREMELY lucky that I live in an industrial area thus I have internet and power. Other parts of the city are far far far worse. I probably live in the least affected part of the city.
