Well I pulled the trigger. I haven't had a chance to play with it all and compare it but....I am moving soon and I think I captured the best of both worlds. I am super excited to get started and jump into the audiophile world.

Also snagged some Dekoni replacement tips for my Airpod Pro G2s as well. The silicone seems to breakout my ears.

So everything looks good, but those Dekoni ear pad sets will start to rip after constant switching, so do a lot of searching for ear pad remover wedge tools and videos for using them on headphones, like this one:
