It may be that a lot of people don't have their head-fi settings set to email them when they get PM'ed under Preferences, so they miss the PM. Maybe that should be a requirement for anyone posting a classified ad.

The Like button can be found at the bottom of a post. If you're not seeing the button, first check that you're not looking at one of your own posts as you cannot like posts you've made. Secondly, disable any ad blockers or other browser extensions you're using as a number of ad-ons can block the Like button as a social element.

I'm an idiot. Ad blocker was the culprit. Thank you!

I often get 503 errors when trying to open up multiple threads in different tabs. Also, lately the site seems to be running pretty slow a lot of the time like when clicking on a link, it will just stall. I've experienced this on two different internet connections.

Same today I am having slowness on the site and a few 505 errors esp so when I tried to edit a post.

I am going to Clear DNS Cache/Reboot router/PC and see if my end but other sites are fine.

Thank you for your reports. We're aware of the increased latency and unfortunately it stems from physical damage to the Google Cloud Network in the region from which we host Head-Fi. Google is currently working on mitigating the problem, but has not yet provided an ETA.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hope it gets fixed soon (the lag), it's starting to get annoying.

Also - on mobile version - can we have this pages navigation on top too? It would be very useful, as very often a thread gets opened at the 1st page and you want to go at the last one quick.

I'm happy to announce that users should now be experiencing normal latency levels while using the site.

Thank you for your patience while we worked towards recovering from this incident.
