I'm very impressed with Nikka from the barrel, it's just so good. My favorite bottle is the Glenfiddich 15 though.

What scotch has the most intense peat/smoke/oak....etc taste ? Other than lagavulin, in which I love.

You need the Mac 12 sherry oak. Also, for those that like the triple cask, it's now discontinued.

Having digested the Macallan and thought about it a bit i have to say that i still think it's very a enjoyable Scotch but maybe a bit highly priced compared to stuff like Bunnhabhain 12, which i like even more.
