The fit of the Vega 2020 we think it more forgiving than the Atlas. But the 2 share similar sound, the Vega 2020 uses essentially the same ADLC driver. That driver is fantastic BTW, we have been attempting to make a successor but its so good its proving to be very difficult. IMO its it best...

The Solaris 2020 is all 100% PVD coated, this plating is extremely hard and robust. The spout (tip) is highly polished 100% stainless steel, so the entire IEM is metal. Physical Vapor Deposition. The OG Solaris does have a 24 gold plated lid which as you indicated is softer than the PVD body...
