Most Bluetooth media remotes should work without issue. Amazon had a bunch of cheaper Bluetooth media remotes that other people have used without issue. Unfortunately cannot recommend any specific brands or models as I have not personally used them.

If you don't want the premium ones sure look up Satechi BT Media Button, YuYue Electronic remote, or here tons of third party.
Still would be nice if we had a working control APP, that can show whats playing (*Hint, Hint* AK).
I use mConnect. Any DLNA based app like mConnect will also work. I also used to use the Sony Network remote app which was my favorite, but they discontinued it years ago.

Kind of missed the hint, mConnect is hit or miss, I have issues with it. My sony dacs use a sony app that is working great so far. My yamaha dacs use an app that works pretty good also. Eversolo, Fiio, Hiby and most of my equipment have an app that works and regular updates. But not the Astell & Kern App! Has not had an update to remedy issues "Get my hint". You guys need to come full circle here if possible.
So you are using the Ca as a source, and i'm guessing you wanted a different amp stage signature with the PA10. Is the CA bypassing the amp stage with line out?
I would just use the USB C to the external Dac of the second amp if possible. I think all other outputs go through the amp stage unless using USBC or Optical.
Otherwise you are double amping right?
Guys, please don't be paranoid about "double-amping". This scary myth was relevant 10-20 years ago when headphone outputs had S/N way below 100db.
Although RCA back outputs bypass ca1k's amp section, they're single-ended. So in order to use balanced out to external amp with balanced in, it's required to use the front 4.4mm port.
I guess you guys might not be familiar with AK daps and their Line Out feature. Like all AK daps, ca1k has a Line Out mode, that switches all outputs to selectable fixed voltage output that's suitable for external line signal. No AK daps (except new Kann I think) have dedicated line out ports, they all provide option to select Line Out mode to feed external amps with fixed voltage output through their headphone outputs. Many other daps (Sony, Cowon, etc) don't have dedicated line out ports either and still work perfectly fine with external head amps through their headphone outs.
Ca1k's headphone outputs are very clean and work very well as a source for external head amps in fixed voltage Line Out mode.
Please don't knock it and scare folks off until you've tried it for yourself.

I don't believe anyone is trying to scare someone ... ? It's an audio forum for discussion, not halloween. With that said, discussion is the main focus here. I have tried it, of course you can obtain results either way of using the headphone out ports or any other line out. You should not asume things and pass judgement.
Just having discussion, looking at the schematic to see if the CA bypasses it's internal dac to output to another external dac. Maybe the signature changes or not depending on what output used. This is all up for discussion not scare tactics.

Thank you for clarifying your position, friend. Because I took your replies to my post as dismissive or patronizing, not encouraging or open minded. Looking forward to your feedback regarding using ca1k as analog source once you might have had to try it yourself. Have a nice day.
