Okay got it, so I am able to turn the volume rod all the way to the left until it as at absolute 'min', and put the knob back on so the dash is similarly pointing to the 'min' position. Sorry again, what is a 'set' screw? I do see a hole in my volume knob here, but no screw:

Oh I think I see maybe their is a screw in that very inner cylinder, are you referring to that thing? Do you know what tool to use for that to tighten it?

The hole that goes through to the shaft of the volume control would have a screw in it. You tighten down the screw onto the shaft and that is what holds the knob in place. You should be able to look down into the hole and see the screw. If none, it fell out and can be put back into place and screwed down onto the shaft.

Yes, that would be the "set' screw. I don't know if it is a flathead type of screw, with a slot in it, an Allen wrench type of a Torx. Can you see what it looks like. Later I can take mine off and then I will know.Oh I think I see maybe their is a screw in that very inner cylinder, are you referring to that thing? It is an Allen wrench. I don't know the size but most likely a metric and a set of small Allen wrenches would do the trick.

Honestly really hard to tell. It almost looks like another very small rod inside of that hole :'D. I will wait until you have a chance to peak. Thanks again for the quick help, saved me from a panic attack lmao

So uh....these mullards are actually insane. It's again another night/day difference and improvement across the board similar to the WE300b. Realism shot way up, I feel like their are little people inside my headphones playing instruments :'D

Isn't it nuts what 70 year old valves can do?
I'm shocked, I half expected my amp to blow up when I plugged in this adapter with rusty tubes :'D. That's why I was so quick to panic when my volume nob damn near came off the first hour I plugged these things in lmao.Isn't it nuts what 70 year old valves can do?
This is making me even more thirsty to upgrade my dac. The Topping dac is definitely a massive bottleneck in my chain right now. I could see the tube sound combined with an R2R dac implementation being insanely addicting. I'm so glad I went with the MKII over the HA-6A, you guys were right, this amp scales infinitely higher with the tube upgrades.
Wait till you see what it can do when you supply it with a upgraded digital front-end.I'm shocked, I half expected my amp to blow up when I plugged in this adapter with rusty tubes :'D. Ohh give details! Are you referring to upsampling via HQ Player ?Wait till you see what it can do when you supply it with a upgraded digital front-end.

No actually. Just to your previous comment that as the Cayin HA-300B MK2 scales with upgraded tubes. So does it also scale with upgrades to the DAC. Regardless of conversion type, Delta Sigma, or R2R.Ohh give details! Are you referring to upsampling via HQ Player ?
